9.30am: Keynote presentation
What is the current state of web design? Where have we been and what lies ahead? An insightful journey through the world of web design and the best practices within it from one of the world’s most experienced and respected practitioners.

11.00am: Design
Before delving in to code we need to figure out how our web site will look and how it will be structured. It isn’t just a question of personal taste; there are rules and conventions that will lead to a greater user experience and, ultimately, a more successful web site.
Speaker to be confirmed.
11.45am: HTML & CSS
The code behind the designs: A whirlwind introduction to HTML (HyperText Markup Language), used to structure your content, and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), used to present it.
Ben Ward is a highly respected member of Yahoo Europe where he works as a web developer. By day he builds websites using the most vibrant mark-up and CSS Camden has to offer; by night he works as a community administrator at microformats.org, building technologies to make the web richer and more meaningful.
Please note that lunch will not be provided, but ample time will be left to visit one of the many nearby eating establishments.

From implementing minimal animations to full-blown rich Internet applications, Flash is a powerful and popular tool that adds another dimension to web design. Find out what it can do, how to get started with it, and how to best use it.
